As an idea why not take a trip to Exmoor, stop on route and enjoy your personally selected picnic, then carry on to Minehead and catch a train on the Somerset steam railway and then take the return drive through the old market town of Dunster with its splendid views of Dunster castle, and the chance to stroll around the shops, (you may well have visited Dunster before but I bet you have never arrived in such style).
